It’s Time to Decide… Are You Ready to Start Over?

Today’s blog is the start of a series dedicated to helping anyone who is starting over… later in life.  Starting over when you thought you’d be established, content, set for life.  I’m going to take you from seeing it as you need to… to living it as you choose to.

Today’s blog is the start of a series dedicated to helping anyone who is starting over… later in life.  Starting over when you thought you’d be established, content, set for life.  I’m going to take you from seeing it as you need to… to living it as you choose to.

*****

It’s gone, over, caput!  Everything you knew or thought you knew has changed and you don’t know what to do next or even what to do at all.  Perhaps it’s been a relationship that ended, your job was eliminated or your retirement nest egg flew the coop.  At this very moment you’re angry, confused, lost, scared and maybe downright terrified.  While that may not feel good at the moment… it is.  Because right now you’ve hit rock bottom and that solid ground is a great place to push-off from.

Starting over in life is a blessing in disguise and while it may not feel like it… you’re going to look back and realize that what happened… happened for a reason.  The crashes break us open and in doing so open us up to more.  More of what we didn’t know was possible because we were mired in whatever was dragging us into the abyss.

I know that if you’re feeling the worst you have, maybe ever, that this seems like an impossible feat.  It’s not.  I know because I have been at rock bottom and I know what hopeless feels like.  When everything you worked for was a mistake or just gone you wonder what’s the use?  Might as well get use to being unhappy, miserable, poor, alone and unworthy.  I’ve been there, done that and now I’m here to help you blast through those feelings and fears.  It’s time to take a Simple Step… one of many… to where you want to be.  Happy.

Today’s Simple Step is a question.  Are you ready to start over?  You have to be willing to let go of the hurt, the drama… the past before you can start this new chapter in your life.  If you are then over the next few weeks I’m going to take your hand and help you walk into your happier future.  You are not alone.

It’s time to decide.
