Remembering Heros

We all have heros in our lives.  None more worthly of our thanks than those who have served and in some cases died for our country.  Today we celebrate their lives & service.  This Memorial Day please join me in remembering our heros.

My Grandpa Colley served during World War I.  I am grateful that he made it home.  We would talk about his experiences.  He taught me Morris Code and the poem “In Flander’s Fields.”  It has been one of my favorites throughout my life.  It seems appropriate to honor all of our soldiers by sharing it today.

God Bless our Heros…those who have fallen and those who returned to help us remember.

  1. Thanks for taking the time to talk about this, I feel fervently about this and I take pleasure in learning about this topic. Please, as you gain information, please update this blog with more information. I have found it very useful.
